BayCon is going to have hall costume judging this year. After a brief
absence because of life, the universe, and all, it's back.

We're going to try a new process this year, so please spread the word
to appropriate lists, groups, family, and friends who will be
attending. In an effort to get more photographic evidence of the
wonderful costumes at BayCon, the process we're going to try this year
is:

1. Get noticed by one of our Hall Costume Judges.

2. After giving the Hall Costume Judge some basic information, get a
Hall Costume mini-certificate.

3. Take the mini-certificate to the photography area. Signs should be
up with directional arrows. It will be near the dealers room.

4. Hand your mini-certificate to the photo clerk, who will enter your
information into the computer.

5. Get your photo taken by our onsite photographer, Danny Low.

6. After your photo is taken, get your mini-certificate and Hall
Costume Award ribbon.

The intent is to have all these photos of wonderful costumes posted
onto the BayCon Flickr website, and maybe publish a few photos in the
BayCon newsletter. If you have an objection to having your photo
published in the newsletter, please let the photo clerk know before you
have your photo taken.

Hall Costume Award judging hours are still being determined at this
time. We will definitely have hall costume judging during Saturday and
Sunday. Friday evening is still being investigated.

Judging and photography hours will be available in the BayCon
newsletter.

We hope to see some really outstanding hall costumes this year!

See you in the halls--
