Mon, May 12, 2008 - 7:24 AMCool. If you know what times you want to run the events, I will make sure that they get in to the newsletter and up on the website so as to make sure that people know the what, when, and where of your game. -

Re: Baycon Gaming Threats!
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 11:05 AMOh I'm starting it. :)
Michael my gaming coordinated friend, I have had so many debates in my brain pan! Being a Baycon virgin, I don't know if the gaming area is set up sufficiently to host a drop in rpg, or whether all the games in that area are 'registered' and I would be better off running in my room. I have considered doing just that in lieu of assuming with my lack of info.
I was going to throw some mad flyers I created all over the con for Friday Thieves World and Sunday 7th Seas in my room, pending checking out the gaming area in person of course. -

Re: Baycon Gaming Threats!
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 12:26 PMBaycon Veteran here! You can leave some of those flyers up at the Info desk and also you can run a drop in RPG, But as this is a new hotel we are at this year, it is not sure if we are going to have some tables in the hallway. Usually at the Doubletree we had RPG's set up in the hallway and people came in as they deemed too. Count me in for the Friday Thieves game. As long as it doesn't overlap with Munchkiny goodness. Also suggestion, you may want to run it down in the gameroom about 4-6pm on friday night as that is 2 - 3 hrs before the parties begin really :) Michael is Department head of Gaming so he will give you the for sure set up but he can definetly give you the heads up. But announcing the games in the newsletter is the best way to get players :) Can't wait to see you there. -

Re: Baycon Gaming Threats!
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 5:18 PMThe parties are going to have to fend for themselves.
Both games will be about 8 hours long. :)
Thanks for the info, I think I have my answer, I'll advertise publically and run in my private room. -
